Founded as the “Terra Cotta Sculptors” in 1952 by Svea Kline, a former teacher and guiding light, the name of the group was changed in 1968 to “Birmingham Sculptors Guild.” Finally, in 1986 we became the “Sculptors Guild of Michigan” to better reflect our territorial scope.
Today we focus on providing opportunities to connect with local sculptors via exhibitions, workshops, studio tours, field trips, and critique meetings.
